Top 10 Business ISPs for '99

ISP-Planet Staff
[January 12, 2000]

A recent study by the Cahners In-Stat Group identifies the top U.S. providers of Internet services for the enterprise market. Competition appears to be intensifying among business-oriented providers, as firms scramble to gain a foothold in new markets.

ISPs are focused on three growth areas: the application service provider (ASP) market, the small-to-medium size business market, and the international market. ISPs are preparing for battle on these emerging fronts by establishing ASP services, expanding their networks and making acquisitions to expand market share.

The following ranking of Business Internet Service Providers is based on first-half income figures for 1999.
