
"I'd say the cable companies CANNOT
be trusted. At least not Comcast and @Home. I ordered @Home on Wednesday,
they scheduled an install for today between 2 and 6 pm. I used 4 hours
of personal leave to be home for this. Well, around 4 I decided to call
and see what the story was, and they told me they had cancelled the
installation the same day as it was ordered. So I asked why nobody called
to tell me this, and they couldn't give me an answer.
I hope the cable companies are on their
way to losing out in the broadband marketplace. I really hope they do,
and that it causes them to go out of business. I feel like I'm getting
bent over and screwed by them, just because they are a monopoly. "
