Excite France announced that it will launch ADSL service under the Excite Chello brand in the next six to twelve months. Excite Chello is also working on other modes of delivering broadband, including satellite and cable.

The Man Show
One month after merging with the broadband operator Chello, the new entity, Excite Chello, announced two new broadband products: "Sports" and "Charme" in partnership with Sport O'FM and Sextracer, respectively.

The "Sports" channel will focus on all of the contests featured in the upcoming Olympic games in Sydnet.

"Charme" features 400 erotic websites chosen for their "quality and lack of pop-up windows," according to Excite France Director Pierre-Yves Paques.

Messages
Excite Chello will also provide the following messaging services: Short Message Service (SMS), Excite Messanger (direct voice communication), voicemail, and faxmail. The ability to send WAP messages should be available by the end of September.

Portail
The overall strategy is to produce a portal for all national broadband users, with games, video on demand, and other attractive services, to help create brand recognition for Excite Chello.
