GoAmerica, Inc. (NASDAQ:GOAM) Wednesday landed a deal with Dell Computer Corp. to provide wireless Internet access to U.S. customers.

The agreement comes eight months after Dell's (NASDAQ:DELL) venturesome business division made an equity investment in GoAmerica. Under the agreement, Dell will sell the Go.Web Internet service with every notepad, personal digital assistant, and pager it produces.

GoAmerica is a wireless Internet service provider with more than 18,367 subscribers currently using its Go.Web portal. The portal's ability to work with any wireless platform, from pagers to notepad computers, has made it a popular pick with investors. They include Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT), Ericsson LM Telephone Co. and Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE:CPQ).

On June 30, it acquired Wynd Communications, a competitor with nearly 5,000 wireless Internet subscribers. The acquisition was a key contributing factor in GoAmericas 376 percent increase in wireless customers in the second quarter this year.

Aaron Dobrinsky, GoAmerica president and chief executive officer, said the Dell deal underscores its already solid business relationship with computer maker.

"We are thrilled to deepen our relationship with Dell," Dobrinsky said. "Dell's reputation and expertise as one of the world's premier direct suppliers of Internet access products and services makes this an ideal partnership as we broaden our distribution within the corporate marketplace. This initiative is a prime example of the execution of GoAmerica's business strategy."

Other big deals
GoAmerica's agreement caps nearly two months of big partnership deals with major computer and telecommunications companies.

In July, Hewlett-Packard Co. agreed to market Go.Web on its Omnibook and Pavilion Notepad product lines.

As of July 27, the Go.Web Internet platform is a pre-loaded application for all Research In Motion Ltd. , Blackberry devices sold by Rogers AT&T Wireless, Canada's largest wireless provider company.
