WorldTeq Group International Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Networld of Ohio, has completed the upgrade of the company's national coverage PoP access network. The company offers a range of telecommunications and Internet services along with related products via independent agents, associations, sales organizations, and affiliate marketing companies, through several wholly-owned subsidiaries.

"We have worked many hundreds of hours meshing together several global networks so that we can increase the coverage our customers can enjoy. The real benefit here is that if we experience an outage in a major city, we have another network we can move an end user to instantly," said Steve Goff, chief technology officer WorldTeq. "This will dramatically improve a customer's experience. Our ability to have over 4,000 local access points of presence in North America will enable us to balance traffic and help some of our ISP customers in their targeted marketing efforts."

Each WorldTeq authorized agent group is provided a personalized website, which allows them to work directly with their own customer base. All agents receive regular recurring revenue as long as the end user remains a customer of WorldTeq Group International or its affiliated companies. WorldTeq utilizes the services of companies including Qwest, Touch America, WorldCom, UUNET, Global Crossing, and Broadwing.

"An additional benefit of this new meshed environment is our ability to deploy newer technologies on a national basis without disrupting anyone's service. We have many new products in the pipeline that we will be rolling out over the next 12 months and our ability to determine what we launch and where we launch is paramount to maintaining our goal of controlled growth," said WorldTeq Chief Executive Officer Bruce Bertman.
