WorldTeq Allies With Qwest

WorldTeq Group International plans to offer T-1 services for $495 a month throughout the contiguous 48 states through its wholesaler partnership with Qwest Communications.

WorldTeq Group International Inc., a provider of affinity services including Internet connectivity, long distance, calling cards, and hosting services, has signed a wholesale contract with Qwest Communications so it can offer national dedicated internet services throughout the contiguous 48 states.

The Rockville, Md.-based WorldTeq plans to offer a T-1 services for $495 a month.

"Unlike cable, this connection is dedicated to our customer's network. It allows them to use it for internet access, data transmissions and even voice," said Bruce Bertman, CEO of WorldTeq Group International.

WorldTeq offers a wide range of telecommunications and Internet services along with related products via independent agents, associations, sales organizations, and affiliate marketing companies, through several wholly-owned subsidiaries.

The company utilizes the services of Qwest, Touch America, WorldCom, UUNET, Global Crossing, and Broadwing. Worldteq operates several wholly owned subsidiaries, including a wholesale company, an Internet provider, and a billing services company.

"The future of technology is in the ability to utilize Internet Protocol in as many facets of communication as possible, these new services allow us to create a building block for any company to truly service almost all of their business needs through one single connection," Bertman added.
