On Friday, July 20 Sprint annouced that its E|Solutions customers will now receive a pledge of a packet loss rate of no more than 0.3 percent, and guaranteed 100 percent power availability for Internet Center customers.

"We view SLAs as a cornerstone of our commitment to provide our customers with the best possible Internet experience," said Keith Paglusch, Sprint E|Solutions president. "Our best-in-class Internet backbone, combined with our next generation Internet Centers provides our customers with the reliability and performance needed for their mission-critical outsourced applications."

If Sprint fails to meet its SLA, the company will give its customers a 10 percent credit on their monthly charge.
