EarthLink to Work the Circuit EarthLink's cable, satellite, and DSL broadband products will be featured in Circuit City's Broadband Stations in stores nationwide.
Internet service provider EarthLink will be a featured vendor at electronics retailer Circuit City's Broadband Stations, which are in-store kiosks with information about service providers, equipment and home networking. EarthLink High Speed Internet services featured at the Broadband Stations include EarthLink DSL, EarthLink 2-way Satellite, and EarthLink Cable, in areas where they are available. EarthLink is the only ISP to offer high-speed Internet access nationally through all three major broadband technologies: cable, DSL and two-way satellite. The Atlanta-based company also offers its Internet services on a wholesale basis via cable, DSL, and fixed wireless technologies. "We're excited to have the opportunity to bring EarthLink High Speed Internet to Circuit City customers," said Bill Heys, EarthLink's executive vice president of sales. "Circuit City's extensive retail presencecombined with EarthLink's extensive broadband footprint through multiple high-speed technologies and multiple vendorsprovides a great opportunity for more Circuit City customers to access the best in high-speed Internet service available to them." With 603 Circuit City Superstores and 29 mall-based Circuit City Express stores, Circuit City operates more consumer electronics specialty superstores in more markets than any other retailer. Circuit City's online presence, CircuitCity.com, offers an integrated clicks-and-mortar experience with a selection of consumer electronics, personal computers, movies, music and games; extensive product information; and Express Pick-up, which allows customers to order online and pick up in store.
