Justin, TexasPartnership Wireless and BuzNet Communications announced the merger of their companies to form the largest provider of fixed wireless broadband services in North Texas.

The merged entity, Partnership Broadband, has more than 6,500 customers and a wireless network coverage area in excess of 10,000 square miles in over 20 Texas counties. The merged entity offers high-speed Internet, voice over IP, and other services to the more than 750,000 households and the thousands of business, education and government customers in its wireless network coverage area. The company also designs, builds and maintains wireless networks for cities, municipalities, school districts, apartment complexes and others.

The new company will operate as Partnership Broadband, Inc. Victor E. Grijalva, CEO of Partnership Wireless, will be CEO of the merged entity and Kelly Wright, founder and President of BuzNet Communications, will be President. Grijalva and Wright bring significant operational and financial expertise with over 30 combined years in the telecom industry. The company is headquartered in Justin, Texas with operational and support centers in Plano, Weatherford, Bridgeport, and Wichita Falls.

CEO Grijalva stated, "Three years ago Partnership Wireless had approximately 800 customers and we identified a significant opportunity to accelerate our growth through the consolidation of smaller wireless Internet providers. By providing common operating systems, experienced operational and technical management and combined purchasing power for bandwidth and equipment needs, we improved the profitability of these businesses and the quality of customer care. Since these companies operated on limited budgets and marketing experience, our marketing initiatives targeted to our newly acquired coverage areas furthered our organic growth. This merger not only creates the largest fixed wireless broadband service provider in North Texas but also marks our ninth successful business combination and creates a profitable entity with the necessary human resource expertise and systems architecture to continue our consolidation, build and grow strategy."

Kelly Wright, President, added, "Even with all the capital invested in the telecom industry over the past decade, many of today's customers are underserved by the telecom and cable operators leaving them with few choices for scalable and affordable high speed Internet that can be installed in days, not months. Also, many municipalities, school districts and businesses with multiple office locations are realizing they can significantly reduce bandwidth costs by building wireless networks that connect facilities to share bandwidth, phone and other services. This merger brings together the operational and technical expertise to meet the growing bandwidth needs of these underserved customers and a team that is committed to providing outstanding customer service."
