ASP Solution Delivers Hosted Applications to Service Providers

NetSat Express' Impact Services solution for ISPs offers Web-based e-mail and instant messaging services, security, and alternate language support, as well as personal information management tools.

NetSat Express recently launched a new service that it calls Impact Services, designed to offer outsourced ASP solutions to ISPs. The ASP services include the company's new Impact Messaging service, as well as its existing Impact ISP package for Internet Service Providers and Impact Hosting solutions.

The company says that its new Impact Messaging service offers Web-based mail, POP3 e-mail, an instant messaging component, hand-held options, calendar and scheduling tools, address book, notepad, security, and alternate language support.

NetSat Express claims its hosting service is supported and monitored by the NetSat Express Data Center, a hosting facility that features back-up power, fault tolerant connectivity to the Internet, and 24-hour monitoring and support.

Also, the company's Impact Service line of products are based on an open standards framework, which should allow service providers to choose the business components that they want and simply plug them into their established models. "We are dedicated to helping service providers obtain and deliver comprehensive Internet business solutions," said CEO Marni Ehrlich. "We believe that NetSat Express' ability to offer depth in service selection, and extra attention to customer satisfaction provides us with a competitive advantage and strong market position."

"What makes our line unique and effective is the fact that it can be utilized across multiple platforms," said President and COO Burt H. Liebowitz. "These services enhance our capabilities so we can provide complete single-source solutions."

"NetSat Express knows ISPs—we know the market and we know the needs of ISPs," added Ehrlich. "Our Impact service line allows us to sell bundled services to service providers and address a broad range of needs specific to ISPs."

NetSat is also a backbone provider, and subscribers to NetSat's Impact Services can purchase NetSat Express' backbone connectivity services.

The terrestrial network (shown above) is complemented by a worldwide satellite network.

The services are available now, worldwide.

NetSat's Impact Services may be purchased as a complete suite or as individual modules, and prices are subject to the needs of customers.
