Smart Content Switching and SSL Acceleration

System promises to enhance the client's experience by providing a more responsive e-commerce site.

CyberIQ Systems recently introduced HyperCommerce, the company's traffic management product that provides Internet cryptographic (SSL) acceleration and Web content switching to deliver fast, reliable and secure electronic commerce.

According to CyberIQ, HyperCommerce offloads and removes the taxing SSL processing from the Web servers into a scalable and secure traffic management appliance that's installed in front of the server farm. CyberIQ says, "This should result in a scalable configuration of 200 (minimum) to 4800 (maximum) per transaction per second." The company also says that HyperCommerce supports TSL and IPSEC/PKE and may be placed inside a customer's existing e-site infrastructure to improve e-commerce performance without requiring a major reconfiguration. HyperCommerce is designed to work in conjunction with traffic management appliances that include HyperFlow2 and HyperFlow3 to resolve congestion, scalability and single server failures by treating multiple service devices as one.

"As Internet traffic becomes more secured and customized for e-commerce transactions, the site's e-commerce infrastructure is increasingly burdened with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) processing," said Sri Chaganty, Vice President, Engineering, Co-Founder and CTO for CyberIQ Systems.
