Multiactive Software Inc. announced plans to develop cross-platform support, and mobile computing integration for its Entice! e-business solution. Entice!, Multiactive's flagship product, is a corporate enterprise solution that lets businesses obtain e-commerce functionality. It integrates sales, and marketing and customer service functions with the Internet, and offers software that automates the management of leads and qualification of prospects, and builds detailed customer profiles.

The Entice! server, which currently runs on Microsoft's Windows NT Server with Internet Information Server (IIS), will be able to operate on UNIX or Linux servers. This enhancement will allow organizations a greater selection in choosing the appropriate server for their business.

Entice! will also allow users to take advantage of forthcoming advances in mobile computing through support of the Wireless Application Protocol (WAP). In particular, users who currently use the Entice! One to One Designer to build personalized Web sites can now reach viewers who use Internet-enabled wireless devices.

Availability
Both development efforts are currently in progress and will be available later this year.
