QSOL.COM's Dual Athlon-Based 1U Servers

New Q10, Q13, and Q14 Series dual processor Athlon-based servers promise powerful performance in a 1U platform.

QSOL.COM says its new Q10, Q13, and Q14 Series Servers were designed to offer maximum performance and storage in a 1U platform and meet the demands of ISPs, streaming and digital media companies, storage service providers, and application service providers. The new models were designed to be a reliable, convenient, and cost-effective solution for online data archiving, application server storage, and performance application processing.

The servers are available with dual AMD Athlon MP processors running up to 1.6GHz (the company promises higher performance AMD Athlon MP processors in the future), and up to 4GB of ECC DDR-SDRAM PC2100 RAM [definition of DDR-SDRAM] [definition of ECC memory].

Also available are models with up to 4 internal or hot swappable redundant 73GB SCSI drives with up to 492GB of storage, adding up to nearly 20TB of storage in a standard rack (i.e. 42 machines, with storage discounted for hard drive overhead).

The company's new Q10 series consist of the following system configurations:

QSOL.COM's new Q10, Q13, and Q14 Series Servers are available now and may be custom built using the online configurator on the company's website.

Pricing depends upon configuration. Users can choose from a variety of rackmount servers and configure the processor, memory, hard drives, and the operating system.
