64,000 Subscribers Connect to One Device The Issanni 2000 subscriber management system is designed to let service providers quickly and cost-effectively provision broadband subscribers and supports up to 64,000 users on a single device.
Issanni Communications unveiled the Issanni 2000, the latest addition to the company's line of scalable, cost-effective broadband subscriber management systems (SMS). Powered by the Issanniware technology platform, the new Issanni 2000 is designed to help service providers provision and manage a range of broadband services and applications for a growing customer base. The Issanni 2000 is the company's highest capacity SMS to date, offering a modular, 8-slot device that is designed to support up to 64,000 subscribers. The company says that service providers looking to expand their portfolios and attract new subscribers can easily accommodate a growing customer base using the Issanni 2000's high-subscriber volume capacity. By supporting up to 64,000 users on a single device, the Issanni 2000 should be able to offer a scalable, cost-effective path for growth. Also, the Issanni 2000 may enable providers to connect subscribers more efficiently than any other solution on the market, resulting in rapid deployment for a lower technology investment. With the Issanni 2000, the company says that ISPs, CLECs, and cable providers can deliver cost-effective DSL, cable, and wireless connectivity services to business and residential customers, along with a broad range of value-added applications. The Issanni 2000 is also designed to support the creation of broadband Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), which may let service providers address new target markets by offering secure networking solutions to connect corporate networks with branch offices, telecommuters, and other remote access applications. The Issanni 2000 is powered by Issanniware, a standards-based platform that is designed to simplify the provisioning of the tasks associated with turning up broadband services and applications. According to the company, Issanniware offers a unique, software-based architecture, featuring Issanni's exclusive AutoProtocol which speeds customer provisioning for faster provisioning; SoftFlow packet queuing architecture for flexibility and customization; Dynamic Packet Fragmentation, supporting real-time applications over a packet-based infrastructure; and Multi-IP support, enabling service providers to derive more revenue per IP address. "The Issanni 2000 leverages the powerful functionality of our flagship product, the Issanni 1000, but was designed to accommodate our customers that needed to quickly address high subscriber volumes," said Scot Zarkiewicz, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Issanni Communications. "With more than twice the subscriber capacity, the Issanni 2000 offers the perfect platform for these larger service providers to affordably deliver broadband services to an increasing number of business and residential subscribers." "The Issanni technology is designed to simplify the process of delivering and managing broadband services, while enabling service providers to reach new audiences and create additional profit streams," said Perry Wintner, Issanni Communications' Vice President of Engineering. "The Issanni 2000 further extends the core competencies of the Issanni products by offering powerful VPN capabilities, increased subscriber capacity, and affordable access to additional providersenabling our customers to diversify their service offering, address larger markets, and expand their revenue possibilities."
