ACE*COMM Corporation recently launched its 'Proof of Value' program that targets service providers in North America. The program offers N*VISION Go!the company's off-the-shelf N*VISION network data management productto prospective customers on a field trial basis without requiring up-front capital commitments. According to the company, N*VISION Go! uses the latest relational database, client/server, and multi-tier technologies, and near real-time data acquisition and analysis infrastructure to provide access to valuable operations and marketing information such as traffic flow statistics, service profitability, usage patterns, and grade of service. Using trend analysis and planning, service providers can use the product to avoid traffic flow problems and troubleshoot their systems. It's also designed to significantly reduce fraudulent network access through real-time analysis of abnormal traffic patterns. The company says that with a rapid install time of 1 to 4 weeks, N*VISION Go! collects and processes network transaction data and quickly exposes lost revenue opportunities, while also providing clues to improve overall network productivity. Because of this rapid implementation feature, ACE*COMM may install the N*VISION Go! solution in the new 'Proof of Value' mode."Proof of Value" is targeted at service providers, including integrated communications carriers and traditional telecom providers, who need to organize their network data for consistency and accuracy, assure their revenues by eliminating lost data records and incorrect transmissions, and seamlessly introduce new services without disrupting normal operations. The company says that "Proof of Value" lets service providers observe the application in their operating environment, evaluate its integration with network environment and business practices, and make investment decisions without any up front commitment. Providers can thereby minimize performance and financial risks, and the rapid deployment feature also permits ACE*COMM to shorten its sales cycle by generating customer confidence much earlier in the process and by reducing its cost-to-market.
