March 6, 2002 -- NewSouth Communications, an Integrated Communications Provider (ICP) serving business customers across the South, has introduced BroadbandSolutions, the company's latest bundled product. This product promises high-speed (T1) Internet connectivity to small and medium-sized businesses, while also including essential voice services like local service and long distance in the bundle.

With BroadbandSolutions, businesses may be able to increase their bandwidth from 256K to 1280K -- often unattainable for smaller businesses that have resorted to dial-up service or DSL for Internet access. BroadbandSolutions also features a fixed number of voice lines, free long distance, e-mail, and web hosting as well as all the necessary network equipment at one affordable, fixed price. In addition, customers will have the option to add LANLOCK, a managed Internet security service to their bundle.

BroadbandSolutions incorporates a single access trunk to provide multiple services, which allows a customer to choose NewSouth to deliver all of their needs including Internet, data, local, long distance, and enhanced products, like e-mail, private networking, and managed security. This may save the customer money. Businesses no longer have to pay for unused bandwidth.
