February 12, 2002 -- Aspire.net Managed Systems Inc. and Yipes Communications, Inc. announced the nationwide availability of fully managed, multi-carrier connectivity services targeted to the legal community. Aspire.net will use the Yipes MAN service to deliver law firms secure, high-bandwidth application and managed network services between diversely located offices and data centers. Aspire.net's connectivity and application services should provide customers a cost-effective solution for consolidating server and technology operations and for outsourcing security, firewall, business continuity and remote access.

Aspire.net selected Yipes after a one-year evaluation of competitive connectivity solutions. The Yipes MAN service offers the reliability of an all-fiber network brought to the customer premise, the tremendous bandwidth potential of a gigabit optical network, the simplicity of end-to-end Ethernet and unprecedented customer control of bandwidth over a secure Web interface. Yipes guarantees latency within its large metro optical networks to be less than 10 ms and its fiber passes within a quarter mile more than half a million businesses in major markets across the country. Yipes was also able to meet Aspire.net's stringent service availability and contractual requirements at a competitive price.
