Eschelon to Provide Internet to Olympic Ski and Snowboard Teams

February 5, 2002 -- Eschelon Telecom, Inc., an Integrated Communications Provider (ICP) of voice, data, Internet services and business telephone systems, announced that it has formed a partnership with the United States Ski and Snowboard Team. As part of the agreement between Eschelon and the team, Eschelon will provide two (2) dedicated T-1 connections for use in powering the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team's web site which will be accessed by thousands of visitors daily during the 2002 Winter Olympics. This agreement makes Eschelon the Official Internet Service Provider for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team is a part of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, the national governing body for Olympic skiing and snowboarding, which has been based in Utah for over a quarter century.
