January 31, 2002 -- Network Telephone Corp., a facilities-based broadband Integrated Communications Provider (ICP), has completed comprehensive field trials of its Voice over Digital Subscriber Line (VoDSL) and Voice over T1 (VoT1) network infrastructure to deliver local, long-distance, high-speed Internet, Web site hosting and development tools to small- and medium-sized businesses throughout the Southeast U.S.

Further, Network Telephone achieved an industry and company milestone in December 2001 by adding more than 2,000 commercial lines in Pensacola, Fla. to its growing Voice over DSL (VoDSL) and Voice over T1 (VoT1) service offering. With the commercial operation of high traffic volume on its own facilities- based VoDSL/VoT1 service, Network Telephone becomes one of the first carriers in the industry to successfully implement this new technology.
