January 8, 2002 -- ASG Technologies - (CDNX: YGT), and ITC DeltaCom (NASDAQ/NM: ITCD), a provider of integrated telecommunications and technology solutions to businesses in the southern United States, announced that they have signed an agreement under which ITC DeltaCom will purchase Passwerks for phased core network implementation, following a successful trial and other standard contingencies. ITC DeltaCom plans to initiate complete network deployment, based on element integration, adding to its robust portfolio of network security services and tools.

ASG's Passwerks gives Telecom Service Providers a network access control and security solution (NAC&S) that provides streamlined authentication, single sign-on authentication, role based network wide access control, event driven audit capabilities and centralized administration.
